Marion Ano, a native Hawaiian technologist, educator, and resource manager has over twelve years of natural and cultural resource management experience in Hawaiʻi. As part of her community work, Marion continues to serve as Ka Honua Momona International’s board secretary.
She is a graduate of Kamehameha Schools Bishop Estate’s First Nations Futures Program and a graduate (2010-2012) of The Americans for Indian Opportunity (AIO).
She is one of three app developers who created the, “Loko iʻa” app and “Tripʻin Chicago” app. She has a passion for programming and also aims to support young people to explore and become iOS mobile app developers. Currently, she is the Artist in Residence in Creative Media at University of Hawaiʻi–West O’ahu where she teaches courses in iOS mobile app development and design.
